Why did you design the bag you did? Why did you select the style? Leather?
Something different than I've ever been able to find before! Style and material wise. Unique to my own taste.
Have you always been you or did you grow into yourself?
I've always been passionate about traveling, food, and fashion but it definitely took several years to grow into my true self. And I'm still growing into it, and into more avenues of creative expression every day.
Was there a moment when you realized you were you?
After I became an avid journal-er in my late teens, I became more present, accepting and loving all aspects of my own life and my own self. This was when I realized just how me I was, and only me.
What's a fault you enjoy about yourself?
Sometimes I take the long way home. It might be better to get home faster and get started on my work for the day, but I really do enjoy taking my time and stopping to smell the roses.
What’s one thing you wish people understood about you?
I thrive in creative environments. I instantly feel more comfortable with myself when we talk about ideas and creative endeavors versus people and things.
Is there a quote or motto that you live by?
If you don't ask, the answer is always no.
What does it mean to be one of a kind?
Recognizing that you are who you are and not one other person can be exactly like you.
What event in life has shaped you most as a person, and how?
A hospitalization 4 years ago. It shook me to the core and back to reality and made me realize how precious life truly is.
