Our leathers are created by hand from some of the world’s best tanneries in the US, Italy, and Spain. Each of our partners carries out their craft using techniques both passed down through generations of masters and innovated for this moment. So while you’ll relish the artistry, you’ll appreciate the durability and can expect your Laudi Vidni bag to last for years to come with surprisingly little upkeep along the way.

Our Classic leathers are veg-tanned in Italy using traditional techniques to create leathers that are epitome of old-world elegance

The perfect blend of quality and creativity
Leather hides undergo various surface treatments to produce a unique texture, treatment or print on the top of the hide
We source leather from tanneries that adhere to the highest environmental standards; many of which have even achieved ICEC and LWG certifications. We use cowhide because it’s the most environmentally responsible choice. (As a food-industry byproduct, we’re creating real use for what would otherwise be thrown away.) We never use exotic skins.
Beyond our leathers , we care about our entire environmental footprint and take every opportunity to do what’s right.

Nota Bene: Vegan Leather We do not offer faux or vegan leather. While the idea of faux leather is great, in reality, it is less durable; ending up in landfills faster. Moreover, it is made from petroleum-based products so they’re not biodegradable. If we find a faux leather that delivers both quality and sustainability – you will be the first to know.

Just use and enjoy your bag! Our leathers were meant to age as uniquely as you. If you get a nick or scuff that bothers you, take your bag to a local shoe repair shop to have them touch it up.
You create it. We make it. No excess production for the trash.
